I've been playing Mut 21 coins for a while. I think that Madden 21 is pretty good. I also don't buy them each year, so perhaps that's why I have another opinion. I think that the main issue here is their model of rolling out new games annually is simply obsolete.

My son and I played the past madden several times every week. I bought him this variant when it fell and we have played it twice together. He tried a few matches of MUT but this just ain't it. Hey men!

Whoever still buys and plays this game is only a MUT enthusiast, the game is unplayable and full of bugs. Gameplay is terrible.

They should focus on one game every five decades or so, and then update the rosters possibly via DLC.

Also, I truly miss NCAA football games... There could be new rosters every year, but the match would feel different each year. I just think the old xbox times of pumping games out annually is getting old for people now.

Why would EA launch a roster DLC when people will pay $60 to get a roster DLC? You are right, of course, a new release schedule could be a huge improvement--If EA managed it professionally.

However, what they would inevitably do is cheap Madden 21 coins cost $20 for brand new rosters, find a new way to milk MUT, also make few to no changes otherwise. It wouldn't result in a much better game. It might just change the way players get screwed.
